Saturday & Sunday, March 27-28, 2010: Homecoming of Shalom A TWO-DAY MULTI-FAITH PEACE MEDITATION RETREAT
We believe that in a male-dominated world, plagued by escalating violence at all levels, the homecoming of the Divine Feminine in women and men will pave the way for peace. By focusing on Jesus as Shalom who welcomed the feminine, the retreatants will be motivated and energized to follow in His footsteps on the way of the Cross. Through guided meditations, chants, storytelling and interplay, the participants will discover their personal and communitarian resources to become artisans of Shalom. This is a wonderful opportunity for all peoples to learn ways of working towards achieving the United Nations’ Development Goals #3, empowerment of women and #8, to promote a global partnership for systemic change.
